Nickel Plating

Nickel is a white lustrous metal with a high mechanical strength. It’s fairly hard & at ordinary temperatures is paramagnetic. It’s mostly widely used in decorative finishes in which the deposit is followed by bright chromium. In addition to the decorative applications, nickel is used for building up of worn out or over-machined parts. There are various finishes in Nickel Plating

Chrome Plating

Chrome plating is a process that involves the electroplating of a thin layer of chromium onto an underlying metal. Sometimes used for decorating purposes, chrome plating can also serve as a layer of protection as well. Often, chrome plating is applied to metal objects when there is an increased opportunity for corrosion to occur.

Zinc Plating

Zinc plating is the process of covering substrate metals (like steel and iron, etc.) with a layer or coating of zinc to protect the substrate from corrosion.

Yellow and Blue passivation is available which provides excellent salt spray requirements.

Satin Plating

Satin plating provides an attractive alternative finish to bright nickel & chromium. It is particularly suitable for hardware & light fitting.

Satin Nickel has found an important safety use as a corrosion resistant, reduced glare finish on automobile parts.

Silver Plating

Silver in its pure form is a soft, white, lustrous metal which is extremely malleable, ductile & capable of taking a high polish.

It’s widely used in the jewellery industry & apart from being used a primary decorative component, it has an industry wide usage because of being conductive.

Gold Plating

Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold onto the surface of another metal, most often copper or silver by electroplating. There are various types of Gold Plating like Soft & Bright Hard

Gold Plating is primarily used for Jewellery & in electronics.

Black Chrome

Black chrome plating is a coating of chromium, applied to a metal surface such as the wheel rim or a motorcycle's exhaust pipe. The chromium has been chemically adulterated to achieve the black colour. This type of plating is unique in its appearance, exhibiting not only the high reflectivity of polished chrome. A black chrome finish is hard and durable, and provides corrosion resistance

Electroless Nickel Plating

Electroless nickel plating is a nickel phosphorous alloy which can be applied with uniform thickness. It is used to provide protection from wear and abrasion, resistance against corrosion, gives hardness to parts. It's commonly used in coatings applications in engineering, aerospace and electronics

Stainless steel Polishing

SS Electropolishing process may be likened to electroplating in reverse. In Engineering industry this process is employed for super finishing and for removal of stressed surfaces. it also creates clean, smooth surface that is easier to sterilise. Used in kitchen and surgical instruments as well.

Plating on ABS Plastic

ABS was the first polymer which could be electroplated with good adhesion. Plating on plastic has many uses as it is light and storng, it can be moulded in one piece with high surface finish. it is strong and corrosion resistant.

Copper plating is a coating of copper metal on another material, Plating is designed to increase durability, strength, or visual appeal, and copper plating specifically is often used to improve heat and electrical conductivity.
